The Future Leaders Programme incorporates an integration of both physical and digital platforms as modes of learning delivery. Specifically designed for creative media practitioners, our U Creative initiative aims to equip creative professionals with the skills and knowledge in an ever-changing creative media sector. The Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program is a scholarship program fully-funded by the United States government. Recruitment, selection, orientation, and travel arrangements for the program are organized by the American Councils for International Education. The FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange Program) was approved by the U.S. Congress in 1992. It is an all-year, fully-funded by the U.S. Department State exchange program for high school students who travel to the United States for the entire school year. The program aims to strengthen ties between U.S. citizens and representatives of other countries. The  Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program History of the FLEX Program In 1992, the United States reached out to the Newly Independent States of the former Soviet Union in the form of FLEX. Begun in 1993, the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program is a competitive, merit-based scholarship program funded by the U.S. Department of State. FLEX students who pass multiple rounds of testing earn a scholarship to spend an academic year in the United States living with a volunteer host family and attending a U.S. high school. The FLEX Program (Future Leaders Exchange) is funded by Congress and administered by the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The program’s goal is to provide an opportunity for high school students from Europe and Eurasia to experience life in the United States to promote mutual understanding.
